Digital Design - Team Leader
It is a small innovative design company seeking to build on next generation sensor development and use.
It is expected that the person hired will be able to start remotely at first and then work from the company office in the greater Zurich area.
Reason For Hire:
The Swiss office based team is growing and needs a high caliber image sensor circuit designer with some additional knowledge of industry design and fabrication.
This is not a contract role.

Reporting to the country Directorate, you will participate in key meetings, document and present on project advancements, their context and importance in the “overall plan.”
You must be comfortable engaging with internal and external to the company audiences at seminars, educational events and online meetings or webinars.
As you develop within your new role, you will provide technology training and set content quality standards that align with client product definitions in a meaningful proactive way.
What Is Wanted From You
Define technical quality standards for engineering
Provide the industry perspective and knowledge to internal stakeholders
Support product definition decisions based on customer/market understanding
Develop and maintain the technology node roadmap
Distill key findings to help interpretation and to provide context
Perform technology and architecture benchmarking, trend awareness, and continuous competitive assessment
Provide technical training of engineering staff in image circuit sensor design, milestones such as tape runs and fabrication
Mentor and lead colleagues as and when required
What You Bring:
10 years experience in image sensor circuit design including conceptual design to fabrication
Knowledge and experience of the sensor product development cycle for camera system integration, image quality and performance evaluation, and system calibration
Understanding of device physics, analog and digital circuit design, noise analysis, optics, and digital imaging theory
Management or team lead experience
Ability to work with across multiple functional teams and levels within the organisation to execute against business requirements while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (another language a plus).
