We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales to join our client based in London on a permanent basis.

They provide quality products to the hospitality refurbishment and new build sector of hotels and large resort properties. 

With over 25 years’ experience in the construction technology sector, the hotels and smart building division are focused on fostering teamwork and sourcing talent for continuous growth and to continue a long-standing policy of promotion from within.

Responsibilities: 

It is important that anyone applying for this role will be able to:

Nurture and maintaining positive relationships with key accounts assigned which will include a smaller brand of a significant global hotel group.

Participate in sales quality improvement initiatives including tracking metrics, timely report and CRM activities as well as suggesting ideas for improvement.

Take responsibility for large value orders and work together with technical, operations and other teams to deliver them from initial specification request and order to delivery.

Meet customers onsite to go over their project requirements, calling upon other internal resource as or when required.

Develop and implement personal strategic sales plans tailoring it to the needs of the division and the smart building product technologies.

Collaborate with operations, production, sales and executive to solve customer challenges.

Forecast forward revenue expectations, projected growth, pricing decisions and report on competitors and substitutes in the current market.

Participate in assigned inter-divisional huddle meetings planning for trade show events, marketing, website sales and ecommerce product development. 

Your Qualifications:

Experience with the construction, building equipment or utilities project environment.

Over 5 years of experience in sales/project management.

Civil engineering or electronics degree a plus, Bachelor degree in a technical area required.

Strong relationship management skills with all levels and a personality not phased by a new €20 million hotel build contract or a simple €100,000 technology installation as part of a site upgrade or refurbishment.

Innovative problem-solving skills, effective, accurate and business sensible decision making, a “win win” mentality.

Ability to multi task, communicate and to prioritise work load in English and French languages.

An enthusiastic approach and ability to learn quickly and assume responsibility are essential with work at weekends or outside of normal hours if required (time compensated).

Candidate – London, 4yrs escalator and people moving systems, airports and related location hotels.   

Salary – upper quartile and a sign-on bonus of £500

Project go live to candidate start – 37 days including notice period due to COVID and employer policy of seeking to reduce headcount / FTE.
